Hi everyone! This is Joey from the Service Beakers staff.
This month, I wanted to take a moment to thank one of our most significant partners!
St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church has supported Service Beakers since its inception. Two of our staff members attended grade school there, and the connections they made have been so helpful in our development—whether it be through the $500 grant in July 2021, or the opportunity to bring our free science activities to its students!
St. Michael has also been a substantial partner in our laptop grant program—most recently, its school made a donation of over 150 devices, including chromebooks and desktop computers! We are excited to refurbish and reorient these devices to our four targeted donation pipelines, wherever there is a need. This includes St. Michael’s Honduras Sister Parish Mission, which serves Nueva Palestina, Honduras. We are honored to have supported this great program by granting over 100 devices to under-resourced students in three surrounding schools!
